My journey as a coach started because I was totally stuck! I’d tried a bunch of different careers and was constantly losing sight of my own artistic practices in the process. I’d been in food service, digital imaging, customer service, management, and finally education, as a professor and an advisor. All the while, I had also been an actor, singer, musician, dancer, painter, and wanna-be writer.

 

Because of the ups and downs of my job journey, my art was constantly on the back-burner, and without that as an outlet, I was getting bored, frustrated, and confused about why my work wasn’t fulfilling. I was off-kilter and it was showing up in the classroom and in my own personal projects.

 

(To clarify, when I started teaching acting, I LOVED it, so I was extra lost when I was excited to turn in for the day. In fact, even through all this, I still teach acting because I love taking my kiddos on that journey as well.)

 

I needed a way to balance myself out. And that’s exactly what I did, analyzing and shifting my habits and outlooks, among other things, to help me craft my own journey on my own terms. And I can help you do that too!

Coaching

What is coaching?

Coaching is a method of conversation and goal-setting that allows us to explore the possibilities for your present and future. 

​

My approach is action focused. We will absolutely talk about you vision of the future, as well as any obstacle that are in the way, and then I will gently pull you from the motion phase to the action phase.

​

We may reference the past, but our objective is to redefine habits, create new actions, and set obtainable goals to get you to your best self.

​

This is a side-by-side process. We are partners in this journey, one question and discovery at a time. As James Clear says, "Change is easy when it's enjoyable!"

This is a one time starter session where we will identify your values, investigate how they show up currently in your life, and find new ways for them to show up more in the future. You'll get a taste of my style of coaching, as well as the structure of a typical session, including growth work! It'll also give me a chance to meet you!​

MY METHOD TO HELP YOU find confidence and stay motivated:

01

BLUEPRINT
To start, we'll identify the layout of your life right now, while envisioning what it could look like and what your want it to look like. We start here so that we know what is of true importance to you, the baseline that we are going to elevate AND what we are ultimately working towards!

02

REARRANGE
We then move into identifying any blocks and obstacles and sidelines currently in your path. We start erasing old unhelpful habits here so that we can start crafting new helpful ones next!

03

CREATE
Here we craft new habits that will move you out of spinning your wheels and into taking action directly towards your goals. We do this in steps, similar to planning a roadmap. 

04

EDIT and REFINE
Here we will observe  and analyze the changes you're made and then make adjustments to the actions we've laid out in the previous phases. We close in this phase because once you've started applying these changes to one area of your life, you can apply them to any other in the future! 

My approach is focused on taking action throughout, so no matter how long we sit in each phase, you will have growth work at the end of each session and between sessions!
